NexusConsent is a self-hosted consent management plugin built specifically for Joomla 5 and 6. It prevents optional services from loading before consent, then activates them according to each visitor’s choices.
NexusConsent can control analytics and advertising scripts, embedded content, iframes, stylesheets, inline code, support, consent withdrawal, local consent records, and CSV export.
Everything runs inside Joomla, with no mandatory external CMP account or per-pageview service. NexusConsent is designed for site owners and agencies who want transparent, maintainable consent controls without handing their visitor data and configuration to a remote platform.

It performs genuine server-side blocking: scripts, styles, and iframes stay blocked until opt-in, and it preserves CSP nonces and integrity attributes even under a strict Content Security Policy.
Does it support Google Consent Mode v2?
Yes, defaults are denied, choices push instant updates, it is GTM-compatible, and the revoke path explicitly denies all four Consent Mode keys before reload.
Does it make my Joomla site GDPR compliant?
