This Refund Policy applies to products and services offered on nexusplugins.com, operated by WEBLAB DOOEL, North Macedonia.
Our website offers both free products, including free versions of WordPress plugins and Joomla extensions, and paid products, including Pro versions, licenses, renewals, updates, and support-related services.
1. Free Products
We may offer free versions of certain plugins or extensions.
Because these products are provided free of charge, no payment is collected and therefore no refund applies to such products.
Free products are provided as-is, unless otherwise stated.
2. Paid Digital Products
Our paid products are digital products delivered electronically. These may include, without limitation:
- WordPress plugins
- Joomla extensions
- Pro features
- license keys
- downloads
- updates
- support access
- subscription or renewal services
Because these are digital goods, they cannot be physically returned.
3. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record
3.1 Authorized Resellers
Paid products on our website are sold through one or more authorized resellers acting as Merchant of Record (each, an "MoR"). The MoR for your transaction handles billing, payment processing, tax collection and remittance, and refund processing on our behalf. Your purchase contract for the transaction itself is with the applicable MoR.
3.2 Merchant of Record Providers
We utilize authorized third-party Merchant of Record (MoR) partners to handle our payment processing, order fulfillment, and international tax compliance. The specific MoR provider applicable to your transaction will be explicitly disclosed on the checkout page and on your purchase receipt or invoice. We reserve the right to add, change, or replace our MoR providers at any time.
3.3 Effect on Refunds
Refunds are issued by the specific MoR that processed the original transaction, credited back to the original payment method, and processed in the original currency. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
3.4 Buyer Terms
By completing a purchase through an MoR, you agree to that specific provider's buyer terms, terms of sale, and privacy notices, which are explicitly presented and linked on the checkout page or within your transaction receipt.
4. General Refund Rule
Subject to mandatory local laws and the respective Merchant of Record’s ultimate discretion as the legal seller, paid digital products are generally non-refundable once any of the following has occurred:
- the product has been downloaded;
- a license key has been issued;
- a license has been activated;
- access to updates or support has started;
- the product has been delivered electronically;
- the service period has begun.
This is because digital products are delivered immediately and cannot be returned or "uninstalled" in the same verifiable way as physical goods.
5. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
If you are a consumer, you may have legal rights in your country of residence, including rights relating to defective digital content or, where applicable, a statutory withdrawal period for online purchases.
However, where permitted by law, any right of withdrawal or cancellation is lost once digital content is supplied immediately upon your explicit agreement to immediate access and performance.
6. Cases Where a Refund May Be Granted
We aim to be fair and practical. In cooperation with our Merchant of Record, refunds for paid products may be approved in cases such as:
6.1 Duplicate Purchase
You accidentally purchased the same product, plan, or license more than once.
6.2 Incorrect Charge
You were charged the wrong amount or billed in error.
6.3 Technical Defect
The paid product has a reproducible technical defect or does not function substantially as described, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within 14 days of you reporting it with sufficient diagnostic information.
6.4 Product Not as Described
The paid product is materially and demonstrably different from the description shown on our website at the time of purchase.
6.5 Unauthorized Transaction
There is reasonable evidence that the payment was made fraudulently or without authorization, subject to verification by the Merchant of Record.
7. Cases Where a Refund Will Normally Not Be Granted
Refunds for paid products will normally not be granted in cases such as:
- you changed your mind after purchase;
- you no longer need or use the product;
- you purchased the wrong product, plan, or license;
- your website, hosting environment, CMS version, PHP version, or third-party software is incompatible (unless compatibility with your specific environment was expressly promised by us prior to purchase);
- the issue is caused by third-party themes, plugins, extensions, modules, hosting providers, server configuration, or custom code modifications;
- you did not contact our support team or refused to provide sufficient diagnostic information for troubleshooting;
- the request is based on a specific feature you expected but that was never explicitly advertised by us;
- the request is made after substantial use of the product, license keys, updates, or support services;
- there is clear evidence of platform abuse, bad faith, or repeated refund requests.
8. Refund Request Period
If you want to request a refund for a paid product, you must submit your request within 14 days of the original purchase date.
Requests submitted after 14 days are generally ineligible for a refund, but may still be reviewed at our or the Merchant of Record's sole discretion under exceptional circumstances, such as verified billing errors or unresolvable critical defects.
9. Support Before Refund
Before a refund can be evaluated or approved based on a technical problem, you must allow us a reasonable opportunity to troubleshoot the issue.
To initiate a technical review, you are required to provide:
- your order number and the email address used for the purchase;
- the email address used for purchase;
- the domain or staging/production website URL where the product is installed;
- your current CMS version;
- your current PHP version;
- Relevant environment details (e.g., server type, active web server configuration);
- a clear detailed description of the issue;
- relevant screenshots, exact error messages, or clear steps to reproduce the issue.
If the technical issue is verified to be caused directly by our paid product and cannot be resolved or patched within a reasonable timeframe, we will initiate a full or partial refund through our Merchant of Record.
10. Renewals, Subscriptions, Updates, and Support Plans
If a purchase includes recurring billing, annual renewal, update access, or support access:
- you may cancel future renewals before the next billing date;
- cancellation prevents future charges only;
- cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund for the current billing period;
- renewal payments are generally non-refundable once processed, unless required by law or unless there was a billing error.
- You can cancel a recurring subscription by logging into your account dashboard, then navigate to My Licenses.
It is your responsibility to cancel a renewal before the next charge date if you do not wish to continue.
11. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a paid product, please contact us and include:
- your full name;
- your purchase email address;
- your order number;
- the product name;
- the reason for your request.
Where applicable, we may ask you to follow the refund or dispute procedure of the relevant payment provider.
12. Chargebacks
Before starting a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
If a chargeback is initiated, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the related license, account access, updates, or support while the matter is under review.
13. Effect of Refund
If a refund is granted for a paid product:
- the related license may be suspended or terminated;
- access to the product, updates, downloads, and support may be revoked;
- you must stop using the refunded product unless applicable law provides otherwise.
