Products, categories, cart, checkout, payments, orders, coupons, tax, shipping, and digital downloads are all handled from a clear admin experience built around everyday store tasks.
It is designed for agencies, creators, and businesses that want ecommerce to feel like a natural part of Joomla. The storefront stays simple for customers, while the backend gives administrators the tools they need to sell, fulfil, track, and grow without unnecessary clutter.

Requested catalog improvements
- Reorder product variants. Arrange variants with drag and drop or the Move up and Move down buttons. Customers see them in the same order on the storefront.
- Cleaner variant editing. Variant cards can now be collapsed, with products containing many variants opening in a compact, easier-to-scan view.
- Category images. Add an image to each category and display it on shop landing tiles and category pages.
- Category thumbnails in the product editor. Category images now appear in the assignment tree, making similarly named categories easier to identify.
- Variant ordering survives migration. Native CSV export and re-import preserve your chosen variant order.

What payment methods does NXCart support?
Cash on Delivery and bank transfer are built in (COD on by default), with optional Stripe and PayPal card payments. Zero-total orders settle without a gateway.
Can I sell digital downloads?
Yes, delivered through secure download links after payment, with configurable max-downloads and link expiry, across 47 file types.
Is NXCart free?
Yes, the free edition is a complete Joomla store. A Pro edition is planned (abandoned-cart recovery, multi-currency, wholesale pricing) but is not yet available.
Can I migrate from WooCommerce or Shopify?
Yes, the CSV importer auto-detects and maps WooCommerce, Shopify, HikaShop, and VirtueMart exports.
Does it require customers to create an account?
No, guest checkout needs only an email; an optional account can be created after checkout to track orders.
