It is designed for agencies, creators, and businesses that want ecommerce to feel like a natural part of Joomla. The storefront stays simple for customers, while the backend gives administrators the tools they need to sell, fulfil, track, and grow without unnecessary clutter.
One commercial edition: NXCart now includes all features in a single commercial package, with an upgrade path from the last free version that preserves existing shop data.
Built-in licensing: Manage your license directly in NXCart. Subscriptions cover downloads, updates and support; installed shops continue working after expiry.
Native Joomla updates: License activation automatically configures the Download Key for commercial updates.
Safer admin editing: Improved handling of deleted products, categories, brands and coupons. Ordinary save errors preserve unsaved changes.
Product page fixes: Fixed a PHP warning and incorrect availability handling for digital product variants.
OSMap integration plugin. Install this only if you use the OSMap component; it lets OSMap discover NXCart's URLs and include them in your generated sitemaps.

Yes, delivered through secure download links after payment, with configurable max-downloads and link expiry, across 47 file types.
Is NXCart free?
No. NXCart is now a commercial extension with a single annual license for up to 5 websites. Existing installations of the final free version, 1.1.2, will continue to work normally.
Can I migrate from WooCommerce or Shopify?
Yes, the CSV importer auto-detects and maps WooCommerce, Shopify, HikaShop, and VirtueMart exports.
Does it require customers to create an account?
No, guest checkout needs only an email; an optional account can be created after checkout to track orders.
Which languages does NXCart support?
NXCart includes English, German, French, Greek and Macedonian language files by default, and optional Portuguese as a separate download. It uses Joomla's standard language system, so all interface text can be translated or customized using language overrides.
