Description
NXP Easy Cart is a Joomla 5+ component built for fast storefront setup, secure checkout, and a clean administrator experience. It operates as a single-currency cart system, ideal for businesses selling in one market. This version is focused on speed to first sale: a single‑currency storefront with clear per‑country tax rates and a streamlined checkout. It is designed for domestic commerce and straightforward international use cases where a small number of country rules are sufficient and taxes can be managed with simple country/region rates.
For more complex cross‑border compliance (EU/UK VAT edge cases, B2B reverse‑charge, US state/district tax, or multi‑currency display), those capabilities are intentionally out of scope for the free version and planned as advanced upgrades. This keeps setup simple and reliable for merchants who primarily sell in one country or to a limited set of destinations.

- Uninstall now preserves NXP Easy Cart database tables by default (no automatic data deletion).
- Added new component option remove_data_on_uninstall for explicit full table purge during uninstall.
- Added dedicated purge SQL script used only when uninstall data removal is explicitly enabled.

- Reinstall after preserved uninstall no longer fails with duplicate foreign key error (fk_nxp_products_primary_category).
